NCD to hold next Council meeting November 7

WASHINGTON–The Members of the National Council on Disability (NCD) will hold a quarterly business meeting on Thursday, November 7, 2024, 1–4 p.m. EST via Zoom.

Following welcome remarks and introductions, the Executive Committee will provide their report, including financial and governance reports; followed by the Chair’s report; and policy updates.

A presentation updating the Council on NCD’s accessible ground transportation and people with mobility disabilities project will be followed by Council member Q&A.

Following Council member community report outs; Council members will receive a disability data presentation, followed by Council member Q&A.

Finally, the Council will receive public comment specifically on voting experiences related to accessibility during the Nov. 5 General Election, before adjourning the meeting..
